Q: How can I join or renew my Boyce Thompson Arboretum membership?
- By phone: call Membership Services at (520) 689-5248 Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Phone memberships can be accepted with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
- In person: come to the Visitor's Center located at the Arboretum's entrance 7 days a week, 8 am to 5 pm from September 1 through April 30, and between 6 am to 3 pm from May 1 through August 31. We will process your membership and mail you permanent cards within 4 days.
- By mail and fax: Download Membership Application (

- Online: Submit Membership Application online.
Q: What day is Boyce Thompson Arboretum closed?
A:
Christmas is the only day the arboretum is closed.
Q: How long is my membership valid?
A: Your Arboretum membership is good for one year from the month of purchase. If you join on August 15, 2007 your membership expires August 31, 2008.
Q: When will I receive my membership cards?
A: Your membership card should arrive within 4 to 6 business days after you join or renew.
Q: Can I loan out my membership card to friend or relative?
A: No, your membership and associated privileges are not transferable to any other individual. Your membership has a tremendous value. To protect the rights of our members, we may ask to see your photo ID, such as a driver's license, at the time of your visit.
Q: What do I do if I lose my membership card?
A: Call the Membership Services Office (520) 689-5248 to report lost or stolen cards. There is a $2.00 fee for replacement cards.
Q. Does my employer offer a matching gift program?
A: Check with your Human Resources Department to determine if your company offers a matching gift program.
Q: Is my membership tax deductible?
A:
Your membership comes with tangible benefits. According to Internal Revenue Service regulations, tangible benefits are not tax-deductible. Tangible benefits may be waived in order to receive a full-tax deduction as allowed by the IRS. Please consult your tax preparer for details.
